Brian Smith, BSChE, grew up in Columbus, OH and attended The Ohio State University where he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation Brian worked for a short time in engineering before transitioning to computer sales with IBM, Sun Microsystems and computer resellers. After a nearly 25 year career in Information Technology sales, Brian and his wife Tywana launched an on-line retail store. Brian has spent the last 15 years as the owner and operator of that store. For most of his life Brian suffered from thanatophobia (an extreme fear of death). To overcome that fear at the age of 40 Brian began studying everything he could find on the subject of the afterlife. Ironically, one of the first books he read was Dr. Gary Schwartz’ “The Afterlife Experiments”. After the sudden and unexpected transition of his 15 year old daughter, Shayna, in June of 2015, Brian accelerated his afterlife studies, joined Helping Parents Heal, and is assisting with the SoulPhone Foundation as part of his effort to help others overcome the fear of death and understand that we truly never die.

A veteran research consultant for oncology clinical trials, David brings 25 years of scientific experience to afterlife study. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Physics, and later enthusiastically dropped out of a MD program in his third year. He then regained sanity, composed several music albums and read hundreds of deeply unique books from his previous studies. One early read during that time was Robert Monroe’s ‘Journeys Out Of The Body.' He discovered with practice he could actually do what Monroe wrote, and thus realized existence is more than the scientific material paradigm he grew up knowing. David’s research is driven by strict processes and tangible results whenever possible: accurate, actionable information from divination tools and profitable remote viewing projects among them. He is working with the GRL team and with Dr. Schwartz on technology to enhance signal strength in instrumental transcommunication.

Jonathan was born and raised in London, England. From an early age he had a keen interest in photography and filmmaking and won a number of prestigious awards. This led him to join the BBC, where he worked for over 30 years in various roles, including Radio Drama, the World Service and the charity BBC Media Action. During that time he was also a freelance journalist and used to be a regular film columnist, as well as writing over 200 features and interviews for newspapers and magazines.
After taking a sabbatical from writing, he turned his attention to creating his own internet business dealing in mobile phone cell tracking. He created several websites and using his journalistic skills promoted and marketed the brand so that it became the top ranking Google search term. This led to the site being used by the BBC and featuring on Sky News.
After the death of a close loved one, Jonathan turned to a Medium and quickly became convinced of the existence of the afterlife. Now retired and following a more recent bereavement, he learnt of the SoulPhone and passionately wants to see the technology free mankind from the pain and fear of death.

Joshua Bagby is a visionary writer currently residing in Oregon. He applies afterlife research to fiction and nonfiction to envision a better life for all humanity. With humor and love he rebels against dreary mainstream clichés from Hollywood, news, and mass market books that present afterlife phenomena as scary, delusional, boring, or sensational. As the blogger for SoulPhone Views (also at soulphonenews.com website), Joshua writes speculative essays about how the SoulPhone and related technologies could change mainstream society. A book manuscript (a work in progress) will offer a more organized presentation of this exciting material. Joshua considers himself an optimistic skeptic: he delights in exploring the greater reality while asking plenty of questions and pursuing alternate explanations.
He’s had a lifelong fascination with cosmic mysteries despite a scarcity of wow moments that make believers out of disbelievers.
